- For heaven's sake - what does it matter? The Mac is without question the
- worst personal computer on the market. There was no advance whatsoever
- made with the PPC being introduced to that platform. The first time I
- opened a mac I laughed my head off. There was all this space that was not
- made use of. Not much in the way of expansion - and even though there was
- all of this unused real estate - there was no provision made for adding
- more drives. I can open my Amiga and A SparcStation - and most PC's for
- that matter and without any major surgery add another drive or several
- other items because the machines were well thought out. I remember Dave
- Haynie himself commenting on how poor a design the Mac is - and that is
- just on the low level hardware side. There are serious problems with the
- OS as well (need we mention all those patches you load into the system
- each time you boot?) I have friends and co-workers who have worked for
- Apple. There is much of nothing to be said for apple on a technical level
- - there is no technical level in a mac. It's all hype. The Amiga SHOULD
- be more expensive than the mac.
